This simple gesture can go a long way especially if your client doesn’t receive phone calls from you on a regular basis. This call of “thanks” can make someone’s day as well as leave a lasting impression. The best way to make this call a great one is to not have an agenda attached to it. Don’t pitch your latest products on this call. Just let the conversation be light and remember to say thank you for their business. If your client asks about your products or services or goes ahead and wants to place an order with you, by all means grant their request. But try to go above and beyond by offering an unexpected discount to keep the call centered on what you called for in the first place: THANKS!
